Supply List: How to Make an Overhead Tabletop Camera Stand with PVC, Easy Mount Install
For measuring and cutting PVC pipe, and connectors for assembly
One length of one-inch PVC pipe
—-PVC comes in 10 foot lengths
Safety Glasses
Measuring Tape
Marker
Pipe Cutter
—-Use one sized for cutting up to 1 1/4 inch pipe
You also need PVC connectors for installing a mount and assembling the stand:
4 end caps,
3 Ts,
2 90 degree angle fittings, usually referred to as elbows
For installing the camera mount onto PVC ‘T’ fitting
Camera mount
—-We used a Ball Joint, a Universal ¼ inch mini ball head screw tripod mount
PVC T part
drill and 1/4 inch bit
1/4 – 20 UNC thread size nut
bolt… ¾ inch in length
2 washers – 1/4 inch, one slightly larger
Sandpaper
&
A socket & open end wrench, or equivalent for stabilizing and then tightening the bolt
